Adults with Incapacity

Do you have a family member or loved one who can no longer manage their affairs?

We can advise you on applications for Welfare and Financial Guardianship.

How we can help:
If you are you unsure about a loved one’s capacity to make decisions and need the legal authority to make decisions on their behalf, we can advise you on making an application for Welfare and Financial Guardianship.

When a person lacks capacity to make welfare and/or financial decisions, the Court can appoint a Guardian to manage their affairs.

If you are uncertain about a person’s capacity, they may be able to make a Power of Attorney, and choose who they want to manage their affairs.

We are also able to assist with making changes to an existing Guardianship Order or to renew an existing Order.
