Michael obtained his LLB and Diploma in Legal Practice (PgDip) from the University of Glasgow in 2013 and 2014 respectively. In 2016, Michael completed his legal traineeship with a mid-sized Glasgow-based law firm, gaining experience in the areas of residential and commercial property, employment and licensing. Since completing his traineeship, Michael has acquired additional experience in the areas of asylum and immigration law, as well as obtaining further employment law experience with specific application to local government, tertiary education services and the public sector generally.
Michael has previous experience of representing clients within the tribunal system and before local authority licencing boards and regulatory committees. Additionally, Michael has special interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has experience conducting mediations. Michael is currently studying for an LLM in Mediation & Conflict Resolution at the University of Strathclyde.
Michael joined Frank Irvine Solicitors in May 2018 and will work primarily within the firm’s civil court team.
