Lesley Anne Govan joined Frank Irvine Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor in July 2013. She has developed a keen interest in Civil Law, which stems from her considerable experience in legal offices, dating back to 1998.
Initially, Lesley commenced practice as a Legal Secretary. She went on to qualify as a Paralegal and then studied for her Law Degree part-time whilst maintaining a full-time Paralegal position. She graduated L.L.B. in 2012 and immediately undertook her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Lesley obtained her first practising certificate in 2014.
Lesley continued to practise with Frank Irvine Solicitors and practises in the fields of Mental Health and Incapacity Law. She has made a consistent contribution to the development of the business. Her performance has been recognised with her promotion to Senior Solicitor in November 2016. Since January 2017, Lesley has been appointed to act as Curator ad Litem by the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland.
