Aileen completed her Undergraduate Degree at Glasgow Caledonian University and obtained her Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen. Aileen completed her training in Glasgow and was admitted as a Solicitor in December 2009. She joined Frank Irvine Solicitors in June 2017 to head up the Immigration Department.
Aileen’s primary areas of practice are Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights Law. She has vast experience of representing clients in the Immigration & Asylum Chamber, as well as assisting with their submissions of various Immigration Applications to the Home Office and challenges to removal directions. Aileen has also been involved with taking numerous cases to the Court of Session in Edinburgh, where decisions of the Home Office have been subject to Judicial Review. Aileen is particularly interested in cases involving human trafficking.
